Athens, in Attica, on the Saronic Gulf in southern Greece.

This the new style Athenian coin struck in the second century during the time of Athens decline due to the growing power of Rome.

Obverse: – Head of Athena in Athenian helmet.

Reverse: – Owl standing on Panathenaic Amphora

Diameter: 29 mm

Silver plated, lead free pewter, with finished patina, made in the USA.
Packaged in a coin collecting flip with the description of coin printed on flip insert.
