Queen Berenice II is shown short-haired at this beautiful coin. Because she dedicated her hair to the safe return of her husband, Ptolemy III from war. Greek astronomers even called one of Zodiac constellations “Berenice’s Lock”. A faithful copy of an outstanding original.
