The Three Sisters of Caligula

Gaius Julius Caesar Augustus Germanicus, more commonly known by his nickname Caligula was the Roman Emperor from 37 A.D. until his assassination in 41 A.D. Caligula was the third emperor of the Roman Empire and a member of the Julio-Claudian dynasty which descended from Augustus and was named by Tiberius as his heir. Caligula’s father, Germanicus, was the adopted son of Emperor Tiberius his mother was Agrippina the elder. Caligula’s brothers were Nero and Drusus and his sisters were Julia Livilla, Drusilla, and Agrippina the younger. Gaius was also the nephew of Emperor Claudius.
