Carthage AR Tetradrachm 350-290 B.C.

Siculo-Punic issues of the Carthaginians in Sicily, 4th-3rd century BC.

Obverse: Female head, wearing a tiara of Phrygian form; perhaps Dido or a form of the moon-goddess.

Reverse: Lion and palm tree. Punic legend; “of the people of the camp”.

Diameter: 24 mm

Material: Silver plated
