Olympia,  Elis on the Peloponnese peninsula the site of the Greek Olympic games in classical times.  The Olympic games were held every four years in honor of Zeus, from the 8th century B.C. to he 4thh century A.D.

Olympian coins from the games in classical times were minted at Olympia and were medallic souvenirs of the Games.

An exact reproduction of the original coin.

Obverse: Laureate head of Zeus right.

Reverse:  Eagle with folded wings standing right atop an Ionic column capital

Diameter: 22 mm

Silver plated, with finished patina, made in the USA.
Packaged in a coin collecting flip with the description of coin printed on flip insert.
