This museum-quality coin reproduction of Ancient Roman Coinage is an exact copy of the coin held in the British Museum (BMC 834).
Emperor Nerva adopted Trajan as his heir and successor in 96 AD.

He was responsible for the greatest military expansion in Roman History.

This coin celebrates Emperor Trajan’s victory over Dacia.  The reverse shows Trajan on horseback raising a spear as he rides down a Dacian soldier who drops to one knee before being trampled under hoof.
