AE Prutah The First Jewish Revolt against Rome, April 67 – March 68 AD
Struck in the second year of the Jewish War, is often referred to as the “Masada coin” because a large number of them were found atop the desert fortress overlooking the Dead Sea .

Reverse: Hebrew legend “Cheruth Zion” (Freedom of Zion) around vine leaf with small branch and tendril.
Diameter: 15.5 mm
Copper plated, lead free pewter, with finished patina, made in the USA.
Packaged in a coin collecting flip with the description of coin printed on flip insert.
