Description
1795 Flowing Hair Dollar
The United States Mint minted the 1795 silver dollar coin in Philadelphia.
Obverse:
The coin’s design features an image of Lady Liberty on the obverse side, with her hair flowing in the wind and the word “LIBERTY” above her head, 1795, below her bust.
Reverse:
The reverse side displays an eagle with outstretched wings perched on a rock, with the inscriptions “United States of America” and “One Dollar.”
Diameter: 38.5 mm
Silver-plated lead-free medal with hand-finished patina, made in the USA.
Packaged in a coin collecting flip with the description of the coin printed on the flip insert.
