Description
This substantial planchet was hand forged using .999 fine silver. The image was hand struck with impressions from the Ancient Greek coin of Syracuse, Sicily, Circa 317-310 B.C., BMC catalog #346. The dies were made by Peter Rosa in 1985, five years before he passed away from cancer.
Each piece is unique, and no two will look the same.

In Greek mythology, Persephone was the Goddess Queen of the Underworld, the daughter of Zeus and Harvest Goddess Demeter. She was also known as the Goddess of Spring Growth.
