Tiberius Caesar Augustus
Emperor 14-37 AD

Tiberius became Octavian’s stepson when he married his mother Livia Drusilla.  Octavian later known as Augustus forced Tiberius to divorce the wife he loved and to marry his daughter Julia.

Augustus died in AD 14, at the age of 75. In his will, Tiberius was confirmed as his sole surviving heir.
