Bruttium, Rhegion, located on the toe of the Italian peninsula and is separated by the Strait of Messina from the island of Sicily.

Obverse: Lion’s Head

Reverse: Lokastos seated left, holding staff; all within olive wreath

    Beautiful gilded copy of no less stunning and rare silver original. Sitting figure though represent Iokastos, son of Eolus, king on the coast of Italy in the district of Rhegium. Please, fix the description and thanks again!
