Description

Quintus’ father Titus Labienus was an important general of Julius Caesar during the Gaul campaign.  He later joined forces with Pompey at the beginning of the civil war.
He was killed at the battle of Munda fighting Caesar’s forces.

Quintus Labienus fought to restore the republic under Gaius Cassius Longinus,

Obverse:  Bust of Quintus Labienus right; inscription Q LABIENVS PARTHICVS IMP
Reverse:   Riderless horse standing right, saddled with bow case and quiver attached.
