Description

Katane, which stood at the foot of Mount Aetna, was a Chalcidian colony from Naxus.

Obverse: Laurel head of Apollo

Reverse: Slow quadriga, Nike holding open wreath with both hands.

Diameter: 26 mm

Material: Silver plated fine pewter

BECKER, BMC  Stamped on rim, copy stamped on reverse
Silver plated lead free pewter, made in the USA
Packaged in a coin collecting flip with the description of coin printed on flip insert.
