Description

Ainos or Ainusan ancient Greek city in Thrace, near the Aegean coast,  on the River Hebros and the southeastern coast of Thrace, modern-day Emez, European part of Turkey,

Obverse:  Head of Hermes right, with long hair, wearing close-fitting petasos ornamented with a row of beads

Reverse:   AIN-I, goat standing right; caduceus to right; all within incuse square.

Diameter:  25 mm

Material: Silver plated lead-free pewter

Made by us in the USA
Packaged in a coin collecting flip with the description of coin printed on flip insert.
